Session safety SOP (summary)
Before class
- Hall check: floor even, ventilation/fans, water nearby
- Roll call & quick readiness scan
- Remind: self-pacing, pain ≠ progress, options available
During class
- Progressive warm-up → main set → cool-down
- Level-based variations for beginners/seniors
- Hydration & rest cues as needed
If something happens
- Stop & assess; first-aid where appropriate
- Notify RWA point person & family contact
- Record details in incident form within 24 hrs

Child safeguarding
- Minors attend with parent/guardian or designated caretaker
- No hands-on adjustments for minors; verbal cues only
- Separate family/seniors slots where feasible
- Photo/video only with prior parental consent
Accessibility & inclusion
- Chair-based options and gentler flows available
- Respect for cultural attire & comfort
- Clear language; demonstrations at multiple angles
- Residents may opt out of any pose without explanation
Resident responsibilities
- Inform the instructor of injuries, pregnancy, or medical concerns
- Bring your own mat & water; arrive 5 minutes early
- Practice at a comfortable pace; stop if you feel pain
- Follow hall etiquette—phones silent; footwear off on mats
Illness policy
If you’re unwell or have a potentially contagious illness, please rest. Hybrid backup (Varenyam Light) can keep you on track from home when available.

FAQs
Is this a medical program?
No. We provide wellness guidance and group sessions, not medical advice or diagnosis. Consult a doctor for medical concerns.
Who can see my Sugam scores?
You can see your own guidance. RWAs receive only anonymized community averages; no personal scores are shared.
Are photos or videos taken?
Only with consent. We may provide optional photo consent forms for events. You can withdraw consent any time.
How are minors protected?
Minors attend with a guardian; no hands-on adjustments; family batches preferred; separate consent for media.
Can residents with health issues join?
Yes—with self-pacing and options. Where applicable, we may request doctor clearance (especially for Revive tracks).
How do I request data deletion?
Email hello@varenyamyoga.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We’ll confirm identity and process it promptly.
